The Chinese game of strategy called “Wei Qi” and adopted by the Japanese, who called it “Go”. One of the oldest board games in the world, with origins in China over 2,500 years ago.

Played on a grid of intersecting lines, two players use black and white stones to claim territory by surrounding empty spaces and capturing opposing pieces. The rules are simple, but the strategy is famously deep, with countless possible game variations.
